Following my previous works made with the anamorphosis process, this time I decided to create anamorphosis mosaics. I have done a lot of studies and tests to understand how it is possible to place the pixels collected on the mirror surface on the mosaic mantle in such a way that I can achieve the most spectacular visual effect.
The mosaic matrix further enhances the visual experience that the "visual riddle" created by anamorphosis is capable of on its own. This experience stems from the fact that the viewer is unable to interpret the view on the spread mantle, and when its reflection on the surface of the cylinder makes sense to him, then the work produces the expected effect. So the experience is greater, the less you can imagine what you see in the mirror based on the graphic content on the mantle.
Put another way: if the displayed "input" graphic is completely uninterpretable by itself, while the mirror image "output" is perfectly interpretable, then the work will definitely be effective. The mosaic matrix raises this factor to a new level.
